ARCom has granted an exemption to Group N and Group N(P) rally cars which are subject of a CAMS log book issued prior to 31 December 2007, from the following requirements of FIA Article 254 – Specific Regulations for Production Cars, Group N, Article 8, Rule 6.3, Suspension: “The use of bearings with linear guidance is prohibited. Only guidance by plain bearings is authorised.” This exemption applies only to events of national status and below and expires 31 December 2009.
